If you've been looking for the ultimate cinema rig for the Lumix S5II/S5IIX/G9II camera then look no further. The RIGID.PRO base converts your camera into a cinematic powerhouse with just four screws!
This model does not fit the Lumix S5 - it only works with the S5II and S5IIX.
Utilising the Smallrig "Black Mamba" 4023 cage or the Tilta Half Cage (not included) simply attach the RIGID.PRO Cinerig Base using the 1/4-3/8" adaptor and four screws provided.
Use the V-Mount or Gold Mount battery of your choice, and you'll get four D-Tap power outputs (10A max total). Plus, when combined with a dummy battery, you'll have a singular power button to power your camera and anything connected via D-Tap - including external monitors or microphones. Hit the power switch, and there's zero current draw ensuring your battery will last for hours, if not days.
You might also consider adding the D-tap to USB-C Right Angle Power Cable.
The RIGID.PRO base also offers complete access to ALL of the camera's buttons, We suggest you leave the camera's power slider 'on', and use the RIGID.PRO power switch. A convenient built-in LED display shows the system voltage available from the connected V-Mount battery ensuring you've got one eye on the power situation at all times.
The S5II/S5IIX/G9II screen tucks neatly away into a felt-lined recess built into the side of the RIGID.PRO base, while the cheese plates on top and bottom provide multiple mounting options for your base plate and all your accessories.
A clever compartment inside the RIGID.PRO base allows for storing excess cable and ensures trouble-free cable management.
The RIGID.PRO S5II/S5IIX/G9II Cinerig Base has been specifically designed for this highly capable camera body. Custom designed aluminium cheese plates (top and bottom) are the perfect base for mounting to a tripod base, and all your accessories on top for a rigid and reliable build.
All that's left to do is add a top handle, and you'll have the ultimate cinema rig!
Note: The RIGID.PRO Camera Rig Bases are handcrafted with care. They are not mass produced in a factory. As such, small imperfections/marks may be present on some parts. This does not affect the quality or functionality of the product in any way.

Love the rigid rig for s5iix. With a video assist 12g you’re getting pdaf, ibis, 5.9k braw all in a beautiful handheld rig setup. With v mount minis the balance is absolutely perfect. I use the Kondor blue blade top handle so you have easy and solid ssd integration. Love the 4 dtaps to power the camera, monitor and audio recorder. Also love that you can still go ultra lightweight with the camera if you pull it out, though we tend to use multiple cameras for that purpose. Excellent job rigid!
It's literally like wedding day, when they get together (rig and camera) it was a love for all time.I love it and highly recommend.Very fast delivery too👍
I've used a variety of cages and rig setups to try and perfect the Cinema rig I desired using the Lumix S5II/IIX as the camera component. With the Rigid Pro base, I've accomplished what I've been trying to perfect for a while now.
As for those that wonder about audio, I use the recently released Tascam FR-AV2, provides me two XLR/TRS connections that are 32-bit Float and a number of timecode operations.
The CineRig back isn't a necessity, but it is a very useful and desireable addition to my S5II! I can add a v-mount battery solidly to the rig and mount multiple add-ons to the cheeseplate top. The CineRig back gives my camera a definite cinema camera look and feel!
I've gotten more than a few double-takes when people see my rig and the comments have all be positive and wonderful!
This rigid pro cineback has been a game changer for me. I run a Multicam production studio with three S5iix's, all of which are now fully rigged with the Cineback and ready for anything. Now we can rig them out for any type of production without the risk of the client thinking we're armatures turning up with these small camera's. I would shoot outside the studio with our Red Komodo or Z Cam F6 purely because of its size and stature, now I take the Lumix on every shoot, making my life so much easier! The weight is now perfect and balanced to get rid of those micro jitters, along with the IBIS this camera is now a proper power house. The cut off switch is a god send, I couldn't be happier. I do hope we get a way to use the audio expansion kit, then it would be perfect.
