1. Arca-Swiss Quick Release

This is the single biggest upgrade. The dedicated Canon base requires you to mount your camera semi-permanently — removing it means unscrewing the cage from the rig. The OMNIA's integrated Arca-Swiss system lets you pop the R5 C in and out in seconds. Switching between rigged cinema mode, handheld, gimbal, or tripod is instant. However, most filmmakers running professional XLR audio use a separate recorder or wireless system powered via D-Tap — which the OMNIA handles with four outputs.
