from 139 reviewsCombined with the Tilta R5C cage this is my favorite rig (out of three I shoot with) for Canon R5C owners. I use the Canon CA-XLR2-c adapter to power the -48volts for a Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone and the Rigid Pro lets me use the hot flash electrical sound connectors to record direct on 8K60 video. I also use a Sennheiser EW-DP wireless receiver mounted on the Tascam adapter to pick up sound from a Sennheiser EW-DP receiver which is recording from a Sennheiser EW-SKP XLR plug-in. I mount the cage on a Sachtler arkiv8t fluid head using a Sachtler 0364 plate. I love the single control power switch for the DP battery connection panel. My only suggestion would be to add a couple USB C 12 v connections to the panel. I use the R5C screen to focus with and I use a Hoya variable ND filter with a Canon RF 24-105mm L f4 lens. Sometimes I use a Canon EF lens adapter with the built-in VND filter to shoot with the Canon EF 16-35 f2.8 zoom.
Compared to other companies' top handles, this one is wider and fits comfortably in the hand.
Also, the gently curved corners are wonderful, so there's no stress on the hand.
This is my first cine rig, and I’m extremely impressed with the OMNI Rig. Its adaptability makes quick adjustments easy, and the all-in-one design is perfect for shooting on the go. A solid choice for any cinematographer looking for a versatile, efficient rig.
Hi just some update pictures as i added the extra side cheese plate and also the large camera screen plate to allow my nikon zr lcd screen to rest against the rig including the handle from rigid which i think i forgot to mention before .Now with the side plate added i can put another cheese plate on the side to allow me to attatch the nikon z series grip remote to the rig. Now i have i can operate the cam easily and also allows me to mount a plate for a wood grip handle when im not using the remote and the top of the side plate i can place my transmitter if required for my diectors monitor or external camera monitor . I just got the latese sirui anmorphic auto focus lens . Cannot wait to use the rig with the zr and latest lenses i have aquired. Ps the lenses are super smooth auto focus on the zr and quiet.
The rigid pro is easy to use.
Am using this with my ZR in a Smallrig cage. Weight and balance is just perfect for my run-and-gun B camera shots. All components of the Omni package are well thought out and fit perfectly.
As compact mirrorless cameras become increasingly more advanced, a product like the Rigid Pro helps to cover the achilles heel of these cameras: mounting space and battery. I can take my XH2S and add multiple grip points, add a large battery to last me all day, and even add pro features like a wireless video transmission. The amount of mounting points are very well appreciated. Love the product
This handle is made from some kind of heavy duty metal. It's got a great grip as well.
I have fully converted my main camera setup right now to the Onmia Rigid Pro for how fast I can take it on and off. Super game changer when needing to switch from video to photo setup with ease
Works great with my R5c, I can use my hot shoe audio adapter now
The perfect adaptive back. Was able to rig this the way I wanted. The arca quick release make this a dream.

Awesome can use any camera on this rig. Something that truely was missing from anyones setup, especially as one rig allows me use any camera whether a nikon or a blackmagic camera. The new nikon ZR camera is at the moment mounted on the OMNIA Universal Cinema Rig .
I can now add a transmitter for a external directors monitor or and mount a exernal camera operator monitor and a SSD drive and even a mic if not using a external recording system which i tend to use.
You can use other add ons from a well known brands like a extra hotshoe or mount bracket etc.
Thinking of buying a 2nd so i can have two camera setup if required. Happy days from here in the UK.thanks you guys. cant wait to bet out there and use it. Get one you will not be sorry.
