Great piece of equipment, well built and gives me plenty of mounting points to further my customization of shooting style to my liking.

These plugs are a great way to protect D-tap ports from dirt and moisture during events and transit. They are a super tight fit so you don't need to worry about them coming out!

If you're using a mirrorless camera for professional shoots then the Rigid Pro Cinerig Base is a must-have accessory!

My favourite benefits are the extended run time thanks to the V-mount battery, the additional weight making handheld shots more stable and ergonomic, and the flexibility for mounting accessories thanks to the cheese plates. As an added bonus your rig will appear more substantial to the untrained client.

The build quality is high and tolerances are tight making the whole setup a snug and secure fit. When you want a lighter setup, it's easy to remove the Cinerig with a few screws. Super happy with this purchase and I can easily recommend this to friends and colleagues!

I love the FX3 camera but not the handle. As soon as you start to put a heavy lens on plus accessories, you will start to put pressure on the plastic handle. Rigid Pro have solved this with this rig and it now feels like the FX6! It transforms the FX3 into a sturdy piece of kit and makes the camera look more like a pro system. I know looks aren’t everything, but sometimes clients may judge and think to themselves “why have they brought a mirrorless camera to shoot this big budget piece?”. It sounds silly, I know, but I don’t make the rules.

In short, I purchased this as I wanted to run the FX3 off V-mount batteries and to add durability to this very fine camera. The Rigid Pro is the solution for me.

There is only one problem with the Rigid Pro. I now have to figure out what I am going to do with all my redundant cheese plates and various other camera rig components. What really pleased me was it worked straight out of the box and everything was as described.

I just upgraded to the Lumix S5 iix and decided to rig out my OG S5 with my ninja v. Rigid pro was a perfect solution. Now I don’t have to worry about power, I don’t have to carry tons of batteries around me or be plugged into the wall when I’m shooting.

On top of it being extremely functional and practical it also makes your rig look way more professional for the clients. I’ve shot with red cameras and DSLR and there’s definitely a level of respect you get when you have a more professional camera on a shoot . True most client’s are not going to be able to tell the difference in quality but they love to flex with photo of big cameras. This also adds a level of trust and can make your shoot a little less stressful.

Been using a FX 30 along side a FX6 and finally the FX30 feels like the camera is rigged out in a solid way that adds functionality and sturdiness to the build. Especially love the way the top handle is now supported as the shoe mount alone always felt like a weak point if you added audio and a monitor to the top handle. Super happy with the single power button for all connected devices as well! Can highly recommend!

I always liked what the S5iix offered as a robust, hybrid camera (especially with recording captured in BRAW). But rigged up in Rigid Pro kit — I love it so much I just bought another.
