There is only one problem with the Rigid Pro. I now have to figure out what I am going to do with all my redundant cheese plates and various other camera rig components. What really pleased me was it worked straight out of the box and everything was as described.

I just upgraded to the Lumix S5 iix and decided to rig out my OG S5 with my ninja v. Rigid pro was a perfect solution. Now I don’t have to worry about power, I don’t have to carry tons of batteries around me or be plugged into the wall when I’m shooting.

On top of it being extremely functional and practical it also makes your rig look way more professional for the clients. I’ve shot with red cameras and DSLR and there’s definitely a level of respect you get when you have a more professional camera on a shoot . True most client’s are not going to be able to tell the difference in quality but they love to flex with photo of big cameras. This also adds a level of trust and can make your shoot a little less stressful.

Been using a FX 30 along side a FX6 and finally the FX30 feels like the camera is rigged out in a solid way that adds functionality and sturdiness to the build. Especially love the way the top handle is now supported as the shoe mount alone always felt like a weak point if you added audio and a monitor to the top handle. Super happy with the single power button for all connected devices as well! Can highly recommend!

With the Rigid Pro, the s5iiX is also now more standardised and aligned (in terms of footprint and handling) to other camera packages I’m used to operating (Ursa Mini 12k; Alexa Mini, ENG). Yet it’s still lightweight enough to handle hold or shoulder mount all day without issue.

I always liked what the S5iix offered as a robust, hybrid camera (especially with recording captured in BRAW). But rigged up in Rigid Pro kit — I love it so much I just bought another.

I bought it for my Blackmagic Pyxis. Very well designed handle that gives a lot of flexibility. Best value for money on the market in my opinion.

Solid construction, love all the mounting points, makes the rig look absolutely amazing, the dtaps are just what i needed! Everything works perfect would definitely recommend!!!!

The fitting was a bit difficult (a very very tight snug and push had to happen to get it to fit), but nonetheless I love the power and mounting options on this. And it makes my a6700 look awesome. And I will say yes probably the only gimbal stabilizer that can hold this rig is the DJI RS4 pro (maybe the regular can too can’t confirm). But yes the Scorp2 it will not work I tried and complete fail lol. Job well done for this cine rig!

I had avoided the whole V-Mount battery thing because if the clutter and bulk. The rig gives me reasons to embrace this pathway and has already (2 jobs) impressed clients, one a videographer, the other not.

After purchasing the cable, I unfortunately had received a faulty one. I contacted the customer support and they immediately sent a working one as a replacement. I‘m super happy with the cable as it works as expected. The length is perfect aswell! Can only recommend
